    F/T, Live or Prekilled

I started feeding live and my snakes seems to enjoy it much more and they never miss.

Recently i switched to f/t and wanted to know if it is as healthy as live or prekilled?

What do you guys feed f/t or live or prekilled?

i dont know if this helps but i feed mine prekilled. i buy them at the store then take them home, kill them by whacking there head against something hard and feed them to my snakes while there nerve endings are going crazy(so it still looks like there alive)

You said you switched it to f/t so I am again assuming that it took the f/t. If it eats f/t then that is great just stick to that if you can. You will have no chance of you bp getting hurt.

it did switch to f/t but i had to like poke the rat against the snake before it ate.

I have heard that f/t takes away a lot of nutrition so i am going to stick to live the previous times i have used live the snake ate them really easilly!
    And i supervised like crazy.

How long do you guys wait while the rat is in their?

For someone with NO snakes and ZERO snake experience, you're sure quick to give out advice.

You heated up the rat to warmer than room temp right? The BP will see it better becuase of its heat pits. You in theory should get a better reaction. As for how long, I dunno check my sig.

I don't think that f/t takes away nutrition ,but I am no expert.

Well every forum I go to says that f/t is the way to go and I definetly see the advantadge there in feeding f/t as apposed to live.

If I do give out bad info feel free to correct me.

The thing is that becuase I have no snakes doesn't mean no knowledge, and yes I know there a difference between theory and experience, and you can correct me if I am wrong. Otherwise I would appreciate it if the fact I have no snakes wasn't held against me .

ROFLMAO ... you gotta be kidding me right?

I don't hold the fact that you don't own snakes against you. I DO despise the idea that someone that has NEVER fed a snake is giving feeding advice. It's just darn silly.
