Help from those who have AP cages with their LEDs and installed RHP
Ok guys, i need some pics of the outside top and inside the cage of those with AP cages who had AP install their Pro Products RHP and the AP LED lighting. I am trying to see how much clearance there is as i will probably be ordering Pats T5 next month. I am debating on having AP install LEDs and the RHP or just installing my own light set from Arcadia and the Pro Products RHP. I mostly am trying to see if i can fit in their LEDs with the RHP and a T5 UVB tube. I know Arcadia offers their combo fixtures that fit Arcadia T5s with their 5k daylight tubes. So if the space is tight, i can install that dual setup at the back of the cage and then mount the RHP in front on one side.

Outside top of cage tape over the RHP cord slot because I thread the stat probe through that same opening, and tape over the LEDs because I used my own set that has a few of the light chips exposed through the channel. They’re bright outside the cage otherwise
inside the cage between the RHP and the light strip. Not much space but might be enough for your fluorescent tube depending on the size of the fixture. This is in Geoffrey’s T8 for size reference

Awesome man. Thanks. Yeah, if i went that route, i would probably have to mount the UVB tube between the back wall and the LED.
And i see they use T-nuts inside a routed hole to mount the RHP. Nice idea. Never thought of that lol.
Might just skip the AP LEDs this round and talk to the guy at Light your Reptiles about the dual tube fixtures he sells from Arcadia. I'm just wondering how much heat 2x24 inch tubes would add to a 3x2x2 cage.

What brand LED lights are you using? I was thinking about hitlights which are local to me, but I want other options in case.

Not sure on the exact brand. I just ordered them on amazon. Search for waterproof color changing LEDs, it was a 16’ strip with remote and power source for like $15-20. The 3528 size fits Animal plastic’s 8mm groove that they cut for their lights

How bright are they and can you dim them with a light dimmer like a Lutron?

They’re fairly bright and already come dimmable on the remote control. Does up to 24 different colors but generally just use white, blue, red, and occasionally green.
