    A thing of nature

Not sure if I captured a yawn from waking up to the smell of a mouse or the dislocation of the jaw to eat. Still an amazing sight to see. Great first feed for me

What is your humidity at? Looks like a really bad shed going on. Great job on the feeding!

The snakes skin looks seriously dehydrated. I keep them in 60%+ humidity using lightly ventilated plastic caging, with coco fiber substrate misted as needed and humidifier in the room.

    Re: A thing of nature

I just saw your other thread, and i see you are already working on trying to get humidity up.
The biggest things with husbandry are:
    1) properly regulated temperatures
    2) keeping them covert and secure, (in dark, with lots of cover.)
    3) humidity

I did all 3 of these things wrong at first, and it took me forever to finally get it right. It got much easier for me when I ditched the glass tank and started keeping them in a rack tub. Now they have dark security, lots of humidity and perfect temps.
I had to invest hundreds of dollars into caging, heating controls and humidifier to get everything perfect.

I love that first picture! He looks like he's just waiting for dinner to walk right into his mouth.
