    Warm hide

My ball python stay in it’s warm hide all the time. She use to alternate between her two, but the last couple weeks she has just stayed in her warm one! Is this normal?

Double check your temp on your second hide, if it's good then it's not a problem or anything to worry about. And if nothing has changed that may make her feel not safe on the cold side. You're good.

Snakes in general don't have any particular pattern, some days/weeks/months they may choose 1 hide over another or alternate like yours was initially.
She'll eventually go back to the cold side when she's in the mood for it.

I would just double check temps. Assuming temps are on point I wouldn't sweat it.

When they go into shed they sometimes don't seem to bother thermoregulating as much in my experience ..

If your hides are identical and your temps are correct, I wouldn't worry. They'll thermoregulate as they need to.
