Lucy just came out of blue a day or two ago and I'm having a hell of a time keeping humidity up in her tank. I have sphagnum and a wet sponge in there, and I mist incessantly. However between mistings I can't seem to get humidity to stay above 60%.
I just picked up some Reptibark, which I have wanted to try out for several reasons. It's nice and moist and I imagine it would maintain a higher humidity. I don't like mucking about in her cage too much because she gets very skittish between coming out of blue and actually shedding, and misting only lasts for so long and I obviously can't get up 50 times a night to do it. I am just wondering if it is worth stressing her out with a substrate change if it might mean less invasion of her space afterward and a good shed.
