Perfectly normal for a snake in shed. Neither of mine come out of hiding at all during the process. It’s instinctual, as they are more vulnerable to predators during this time. She’ll be back to normal in a few days!

Phew, okay. We have moved the stuff arpund her tank since her last shed so I imagine it's harder to get around.

Does she still fit in those hides? I know it should be a tight fit, but from that angle it looks like she don't fit at all...
Other then that, it is normal they don't move much during shed.
Just keep the humidity up high right now, mist more often, it looks pretty dry.

I mist every time I come in to peek at her, so every hour or two. I'm also going to throw some wet sphagnum in there.
She does fit, but sometimes likes to stick a loop out. I don't know if she is young enough to still be growing, she is about two and a half, but perhaps it is time to upgrade. Maybe too tight to be comfortable during a shed.

Nothing to worry about. I typically don't see any of my snakes for days at a time while they're in shed.

Snakes don't come out of their hides often when they're in shed. They only do to switch from the hot side to the cool side. Once she sheds, she'll probably go back to exploring.

Well, my worry was that she isn't in her hides, just coiled in that corner. The pictures above were taken at the time of posting.
