Right now I have 17 eggs in the incubator. Two of them were stuck in a female after the initial clutch was laid. I bumped up the humidity and left her overnight and she laid the last two. Now those last two eggs really stink, one in particular. I could actually see a yellow film on about half of the egg, I was thinking it was some stinky bacteria so I sprayed some bleach water on a paper towel and wiped it down. That really helped out but a couple days later it was smelling again so I repeated the process. The only thing is that I noticed that it seemed to make the shell of the egg a lot more flexible and less leathery. Not sure if that was the right thing to use. Maybe I should have used diluted Povidone Iodine instead? Anyone else have a similar experience? That one egg stinks up my whole incubator LOL. I can tell it's still a good egg because I can see the veins in it.
