Rats - how big is too big?

I have been feeding Monty happily on rat pups for the last 2 months and he has now eaten 7 or 8 times (one a week). He has grown considerably although i haven't been weighing him.
I was getting to the end of my bag of rats and so have just ordered, and recieved, a bag of 25 rat weanlings. I thought it was time to go up a size as he had been making short work of the pups.
The weanlings are *much* bigger than i thought. The smaller ones are just about the same thickness as his largest part but it is really very close. He is probably 3 months old now - are they too much for him?

He still hasn't pooped since the very first night I got him, although there are urates and urine aplenty.

Feed him the smallest ones first. Even the larger ones shouldn't hurt him... if they leave a little lump, just wait to feed him again until the lump goes away. Or, until he looks hungry again

Baby ball pythons have a tremendous ability to consume food in their first year. One of those a week will be fine. Just be careful handling afterwards and if he/she decides to skip a meal, don't sweat it.
