What LED for AP T-10?

What specific LED strips are you guys with PVC using? I've searched and couldn't find any links or brands etc. I like to use things someone else has had good results with. I did have double fluorescents put on for daytime but still want a red lighting so I can peek in once they go off. My cage is probably still 5-7 weeks away but trying to get everything ready.

Following....mine is probably 8 weeks away! I think I defaulted to the white LED lights.

DO NOT make the same mistake I did and order cheap multicolored LED's on amazon. I thought it would be cool to have different colors and have white as well. NOPE - they stink. All the time I took installing them and wiring it up...wasted.

If I was to do it again I would've bought a simple LED fixture at HD or Lowes. AP offers a florescent fixture but I would go with LED. Honestly only need it for cleaning if you have a window in the room the enclosure is in...that should be enough daylight for your snakes....seems to be working for mine.

I'm not taking away from other members that have multi colored lights in their enclosures....just sharing my experience.

I know a few did the Amazon lights. What went wrong with yours? I'm wondering wether to do red or white. I'm leaning towards red.

The white isn't a true white because it's a multicolored strip...just uses the blue and green to simulate white, even though it was advertised as white blue green red...

I just use the white LEDs that AP offers. Although out of 9 cages, only 2 of them havent had to be replaced yet lol. The plus side is Ali at AP is awesome and took care of me and sent them out the next day.

Get AP LED's. I only use them to clean anyway. At least if something goes wrong Ali Will send you a new set and the place is already milled into the enclosure. For $40 cant beat that installed. The white is awesome.
