Pretty much done.
The isopods and springtails go in this weekend and Gandalf should get to move in next weekend.

Re: Pretty much done.
I ordered with a 5" lip. 6" may have been a bit better, but it's all good.

Nice! I didn't know you could order a higher lip on AP cages. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Have you let the plants root for a while? I know with regular planted vivs, you are supposed to let the system settle and stabilize for like a month or more before adding animals. I typically wait a couple months since I house heavier geckos (gargs) and frogs (whites) that tend to tear plants up.
Also curious about what kind of lighting you are doing? I have the recessed LED lights from AP, but am certain they wouldn't be bright enough for live plants... On my terrariums, I use jungle dawns or LED spot lights.
Currently keeping:
1.0 BCA 1.0 BCI
1.0 CA BCI 1.1 BCLs
0.1 BRB 1.2 KSBs
1.0 Carpet 0.5 BPs
0.2 cresteds 1.2 gargs
1.0 Leachie 0.0.1 BTS

Re: Pretty much done.
The plants are actually in net pots in the substrate. They're not entirely free.
For lighting I'm using a Current-USA satellite plus pro.

Re: Pretty much done.
First, that tank is amazing! Looks so beautiful.
I have to ask though, since I am totally naive on this subject (and use paper substrate for ease of cleanliness mostly).
Does the tank sustain itself? What do you have to clean and when?
Would be cool if you could answer because I am really curious and it looks so incredible.
Either way, nice work!
