Post Feeding Activity and Maintence Schedule

Since I feed on Thursday my ball hasn't moved from her cool hide at all. I thought that they needed to go to the warm side to help digest food. Also is this right for what you need to do for cleaning schedule.
Daily-Change water, check for feces and urates
    Weekly-
Monthly-complete cage cleaning with 5% bleach solution.

Is there any thing I missed.

Sounds fine. I like using a chlorhexadine solution instead of bleach, but bleach will work fine. Just make sure there is no residual odor left in the cage. (Chlorine fumes are toxic!) Complete cage cleaning is good at a month but if you have excessive amounts of waste deposits just remember it's better to clean a little early. Otherwise you look good. Of course you must not be too OCD because I have check Accurite at least twice a day on my list too, but I'm a freak.

Well maybe I should qualify that. It's more like 2-3 times morning and night. Which is still a major accomplishment considering I used to check it every 30 mins or so. But some days I can actually go only 2 times! Thank you, thank you. *takes a bow*

Oh yeah, I do check the temps all the time. Almost everytime I go into my room I check temps atleast 10 times a day.

We need a support group!!! LOL

It does seriously though get easier and less worrisome after awhile when you know you can trust your tank/tub to stay fairly stable.

Green, if your temps are good and there is a decent variance (gradient) between warm and cool hides I'm sure your snake will move when she/he needs to. If you are concerned about that, Adam has this trick of putting small balls of crushed up newspaper all over the enclosure to help really shy or stressed ones feel safe enough to move about as they should. It really works! One of our new snakes is an extremely aggressive large female. We filled her tub with these newspaper balls and already you can see her settling down and not "pacing" her tank so much (thank you Adam! now can you come to my house and tell Brannagh it's not smart to bite the hand that feeds her LOL).

    Adam the Snake Whisperer!
