Mahoganys

Does anyone work with mahoganys? I would like to know how to tell mahogany from normal babies. Are there any markers on mahogany. Thank you for your time.

i'm not familiar w/ Mahogany's and probably can't pick them out from a clutch of normals w/o seeing their bellies. i've seen they're patterns vary widely from clean, reduced to reg. normal alien heads.

Hannah is working w/ Mahogany's. she has a Mahogany Pied and a Mahogany het Pied. u can probably see where's she's going w/ the project.

How do you tell by the belly?

they have clear bellies whereas most Normals do not. to be clear: my provided scenario is if one were to mix confirmed Mahogany's and Normals and w/o seeing their bellies or from a confirmed Mahogany clutch. DO NOT pick out random BP's from any clutch and claim that a Normal looking BP w/ a clear belly is a Mahogany. genetics are still very important, not random patterns.

the best way to get a Mahogany is to obtain one from a trusted breeder.
