Scales

I have a four mounth old ball python. I noticed she had some unusual brown markings on her. I was told that she had just shed when I got her I don’t know if it was a bad she’d or scale rot?

Pictures would help. Brown scales are not always rot, sometimes it's just stuck shed, sometimes is low level burns, sometimes its dirt, sometimes it's newsprint rubbed off on them.
