Better to adopt an older or younger bp?

I'm planning on adopting a ball python, and I've narrowed it down to two. One is 3 years old, the other is 10 years old. Are there any obvious things to consider with an age difference like this? Obviously the older one will be larger, but besides that?

Do you know the personality of either snake if the ten year old was a breeder only may not take to handling as a pet well, I was told with snakes "Breeders don't make good pets, and pets don't make good breeders" seems reasonable but I don't know for one hundred percent it's true. Good luck on either I bet it will be a fabulous noodle either way make sure to post pictures

This is definitely not true. The only truth I could see in this statement is that generally animals sold as "pet quality" are less valuable monetarily due to less than desirable aesthetics or a genetic defect and thus usually don't produce "high quality" offspring.

Thank you for your input I didn't know either way since I haven't really been around a breeder in person one of those things that I guess sounds possible but is not the full truth 😊
