    anerythristic boa

So a few weeks ago I picked up this girl at the Westchester expo. It was my wife's and mine first time going to an reptile expo and we were amazed at all the different reptiles and how packed the place was.
Im thinking about upgrading my collection to ap cages. I'm just wondering what people here think of splitting the cage in half. One side for my young ball python and the other for the boa until they get big enough for their forever cage.
Any one else here have an anrythristic boa?

    Nice little boa.

You can split the cage but personally if you are ordering a cage from AP, might as well just order 2 and do a payment plan with them. Personally for me, I would order a T10 for the BP and at least a T10 for the boa. A forever home for the boa unless its a male will probably involve a T25. i have my adult females and male SD retic in T25s. My BP and dumerils are in T10s and my baby boas are in T8s.

They take like 3 months to ship and being Christmas, i bet it will be even longer. Took like 13 weeks for 3 T8s to ship, 14 weeks for 3 T10s to ship and exactly 12 weeks for 3 T25s to ship but that was because I was Razzing Ali on T8s being a quick ship item when it took 13 weeks lol.

But if i were you, and was starting from scratch and knowing what i know now, i would just save up or do a payment plan and start off with a T25 for the boa. Otherwise you will end up like me with extra cages laying around that beg to be filled.....thus why i have a snow or moon lined up in about 3 months or so for my extra T10 hahaha.

I am doing the same thing. I have my T8 split, ball python on one side, Mexican black king on the other. As soon as they're ready for their own, I will buy another AP cage, and they'll each be in their own.

Well as it stands I'll have to get at least 3 cages for them. I was looking the t8 or the t10. I like the idea of a bit more height makes it a bit easier to get them in and out. The boa I was told that she's a female and that she may get to 8 feet so the t25 will prolly work well for her then. Just right meow she's just way too small for that in my opinion.
I just wonder what would be the best way to heat the t10 if I do decide to split it till they are a bit bigger. I don't think flex tape would be enough in the room do to the temps. Maybe a panel from pro heat on each side or in the middle and some how make it work with the divider?
