Humidifier
I may get my ball python today if I can get the humidity under control. Its sitting at 44% right now. Could I use a humidifier by the cage on a timer to raise the humidity.

Re: Humidifier
you could if you have a glass tank, but you dont need too. just mist the cage to keep the humidity up. oh yeah and about the humidifier i think it might get the cage too wet. hpefully someone that knows about huimidifiers and ball pythons can tell you, but i know you dont need one

Re: Humidifier
I live in Southern Arizona and on some days have problems keeping the humidity up. I made the humidifier from this site and use it whenever I need to. I also mist daily.

Re: Humidifier
here is the link to the DIY humidifier:

I have heard horror stories about the store bought humidifiers....melting, over-humidifying, not even working. So do research on the brand you want to buy, if you decide to go that route.

Re: Humidifier
just a plain humidifier from walmart will do to keep the room/area the cage is in more humid.

Re: Humidifier
As mentioned in the other thread first thing I would do with that setup is cover the (assumed) screen lid.
