    Caging Question

Hello all, I recently acquired five boaphile 421T cages. The ones with the removable divider inside. I plan on raising a few baby burms and retics in them, now of course larger caging will be provided when needed, however while they are small ill be using these. When the divider is removed there is still a 1/2 inch ridge in the middle where the divider attaches. My question is, is this lip on the floor in the middle going to in any way hurt my snakes? Or will it make no difference at all? Thanks in advance all!!
