    Talking More New Babies!

Okay, so I jacked my sister's thread to make my announcement...I'm a baaaaad person!!!

I am finally jumping in and selling off the youngest (hey, she's not been around as long so I'm not as attached....JUST KIDDING!!!) to jump in with both feet into the world of bp ownership!

I am getting a het hypo female (to pair with Christie's lovely Pastel 50% het hypo male) and two 66% female pieds which I look forward to proving out (PLEASE DEAR LORD, LET THEM BOTH BE HET PIED!!!!!). Sorry no pics, they obviously look normal but they are the BEST in my book!

My adorable little creamsicle corn Trixie will have some competition soon!

a family project that's cool! i once spoke to pete kahl on the phone and he told me that when choosing poss. hets, go for the ones with the "markers" i saw your babies and i'm pretty sure they both have the markers. ultimately each snake is possible het markers or not. you're starting out pretty good in bp's!!!

Thanks Vaughn and make sure to pay extra special attention to our babies when you're up there feeding them! You're so lucky that you get to go through Adam's collection so often! *jealous*

I'm hoping those pied prove out too Wendy. I want one too, and then we'll go for the caramel pieds or hopefully get a pastel hypo....Oh the possibilities!!

Apparently there's a theory that het pied have two dark lines on either side of the body around their cloaca (I think). Basically, their ventral side by their cloaca has borders on either side of a white belly.

Yes, those girls do have the marker, but Adam was very upfront that their is conflicting evidence to support the theory. But hey, I upped my chances up to ~93% by getting two!!!

The dreams Christie!! We have been planning breeding projects all summer! We have a great base to work with (especially if my girls prove out), so in heck 6 years we'll be rolling our own carmel pied glows!!
