Question About Axel Being Sexed?!
I just wanted to ask a question about Axel being sexed... When do y'all think it's the best time to get my snake sexed?
Like I need to know like should I do it in about 2 weeks or should I do it now?
I am listening to all of what y'all have to say!!
Thank y'all!!

Btw I was typing this quickly but I need to explain that, I won’t take him now unless y’all say it is alright.

What will be different in two week?
Unless you are experiencing issues with you animal you can sex it anytime so long it has been 48 hours since the last meal.
Now keep in mind having your animal sexed at a store means you will be subjecting your animal to anything from stress to possibly mites.

I would worry first about getting your snake eating healthy before worrying about if it is a he or a she.

I'd honestly not worry about that now and wait until Axel has started eating for you consistently before worrying about sexing him. He's still in the acclimation process after all. Deborah also brings up a good point about stress and mites.

Re: Question About Axel Being Sexed?!
Wait for at least two exucutive meals before sexing your noodle. We know you're doing your best and it's awesome that you're so enthusiastic about the hobby. You need to slow down a bit though. Get the noodle happy and eating regularly before adding the stress of being transported and sexed.

Re: Question About Axel Being Sexed?!
Of course I am worried he is not eating, but I am not worried about sexing him it’s just I am curious is all and yes I do need to slow down. xD
Thank y’all for the advice! I really appreciate. Just one question. Do y’all recommend that I take him to a vet to get him sexed? Of course I am talking about after he actually starts to eat again and actually seems to be comfortable.

Yup, unless you know a breeder that can come to your house a vet is your best bet much better than a pet store.
