Phantom?

Sorry guys, been gone for awhile. The hurricane got me really behind at work. Hopefully someone can help me out with this one. It is seriously challenging my identification skills. This is part of a clutch that was a Lavender Spider x Phantom het Lavender. I thought I was going to be able to tell what had Phantom and what did not but...

These pictures are from right after the first shed. They have since shed again without significant change other than the non-spider's lavender coloration really amped up. That one is the only girl and I am holding her back regardless of whether she is Phantom or not. All the spiders are boys. If any of them are Phantom it will also be held back.

Anyone have a clue? Any help would be appreciated.

Man, I’m not a huge fan of albino but those guys are awesome! I never could understand how people were able to identify different morphs when you mix albino into it, really hard unless you have an animal without the gene your looking for to compare it to. Looking at yours I have some ideas but I don’t even want to share because I am nowhere near experienced enough to feel confident in helping. Great looking snakes though and good luck! 😉

do any of the ones with Spider have dots? i would say the one(s) with dots would more likely have Phantom. also i don't think #4 is a Phantom. good lucking clutch tho!

I can see why some may not care for regular albinos but the Lavender seems to have a little more punch and makes the snake pop a bit more. The ruby colored eyes is what I really like about them. They are hard to id especially when multiple genes are involved. The spider being in there is really throwing me off. I had one of the larger breeders that deals with Lavender take a look at them and he was as unsure as I am. We both think that one of the boys is a Phantom and it happens to be the same one but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

From the pictures I have seen I believe that the dots are a factor and that you are correct. One of the animals has a couple very tiny dots. I am thinking that the the white "blushing" that is normally seen on a spider might also be a factor. The father has a bit of the typical spider white. One of the babies seems to have less than the other two. From pictures I have seen of normal phantom spiders there seems to be very little white on the sides. I am expecting that this should remain true with the albinos as well.

For now I'm done working on the computer (while frequently checking my forums, lol) and have to go tend to some other chores. I will definitely revisit after I have a chance to dig a little deeper into those morphs

I thought one of the distinguishing factors that you will see with the phantom gene has to do with the lower eyestripe. Don't know for sure but, the lower eyestripe in phantoms extends to the front ot the eye. Where some others only extend to the back of the eye.

i don't own an Albino/Lavender Albino Spider and don't know how they age. i do have a a few Spider combos tho. yes, they're white sides are indicators. also if you've noticed, they have whole individual belly/side wall scales that are yellow, gold, etc. speckled along the white sides. is this still true for Albino/Lavender Albino Spiders? it looks like the Phantom gene muddles this speckling from what i've seen. could be another indicator.

also did u see that Garrick Demeyer produced an Albino Super Phantom (or was it Albino Super Mystic)? it looked exactly how u would imagine it. really cool, not complete white. what other genes are at play in your REL project?
