Can bonsai-style Ficus trees be used in a vivarium at all?

I thought it would look very serene and beautiful to have a Ficus fig tree growing in a large vivarium, but I'm not sure if the humidity and water requirements would keep it from living with other tropical plants. I also don't know if any herps are compatible or incompatible with them.

Could anyone provide information before I commit to buying one? Thanks.

I've had one in my pink tongue skink setup for about a year now. It hasn't really done anything growth-wise, but hasn't died yet either so guess it's ok. No dead lizards yet either, for what it's worth.

May I ask what your humidity level was, what temperature you set it up with, and the light requirements of the other plants you have? I'm just looking for as much information as possible to make a successful vivarium. A couple plants have already died in the plant medley I set up in my first real vivarium, probably due to the level of light or humidity or how often I had to spray the whole thing down (twice a day).

I think Ficus fig trees are beautiful and would really make a viv look like an ancient forest, but it would suck if I altered things slightly and the tree died, or if the light needed for one plant interfered with the light for another.
