How to tell a low expression scaleless head?

So I've been looking into the scaleless head project and I see some big breeders selling 'low expression' scaleless head ball pythons. But on some of these I can't even tell that it's a scaleless head. Check out this one from BHB, does it look like a scaleless head to you? Does anyone breed these? Anything else you should look for to verify the genetics? I'm starting to wonder if some of my snakes are scaleless heads that have been mis-identified by breeders, maybe I have one that slipped under their nose LOL.

i see small, micro-type head scales on the BHB BP in the link u posted. i also see skin between some of the scales. looks like a Scaleless Head to me. there's variation in all morphs.

also post some closeup pix of your BP's heads u think may be Scaleless and mis-ID'ed by breeders.

Edit: there's also another morph called Microscales that has missing head scales and smaller body scales and has a full scaleless super: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...ine-proves-out!!!!!!

Well I just got into the project and bought a male, should be ready to breed later this fall. Never dealt with this morph before so just checking. Here's my male, he's scaleless head for sure! I'm really excited about this project!
