    New sterilite tub

    Hi guys it's me again!

So I've decided to work on a tub instead of a glass tank...

This is what I have so far...

    • sterilite 105 qt
    • exo terra plastic terrarium plants lg (x2)
    • jump start thermostat
    • acurite humidity monitors
    • zoo med natural full cork round md
    • zoo med reptitherm medium (30-40gal)
    • reptile basics small hide box (x2)
    • zoo med eco earth
    • zoo med moss

So far I think I'm just missing a water bowl and I would like to add some driftwood for decoration and more plants depending on the space left

What do you guys think? I'll be posting pictures when I get the rest of the stuff delivered, I just wanna be prepared!

Thank you in advance and special thank to starscream who's made my life easier by guiding me through the process!

Your setup plans sound pretty good Hector. The only thing I would add is a temp gun. I love them because I can accurately check the temps anywhere in the enclosure. The only thing I would change is the heat mat. I prefer Ultratherm UTHs over Zoomed especially for tubs because the Ultratherms don't get as hot even in the event of a thermostat malfunction. I've seen the Zoomeds top out at over 130F. The Ultratherms top out around 100F. Looking forward to seeing the new setup and critter.

Oh thank you for the link, I'm about to order one right now, and I forgot to add the temp gun, I have one already it's so helpful I use it with my beardies too, thank you for the quick answer!
