Hi! I recently got a lovely male bp, it's been a trip but we are doing well minus him not wanting to eat! I have him in a 40 gal breeder, he's about four feet long, he has a nice setup with two hides on each side(ceramic flower pots, which he just loves), his hot side is running 90-93 for belly heat, about 88 for ambient, and his low side runs about 80, sometimes lower at night. We do have temp drops at night as it's just how our house works, but otherwise it's pretty steady. Everything for his setup seems to be on point so it leads me to think it might be for another reason. He was eating fine before we picked him up, according to the place we got him from, and he did have no hides in the tank the day we picked him up, and only one hide otherwise before that. Shortly after we got him he hide pretty steadily instead of coming out every night like he did previously, and went into shed last week and completed his shed in a day. It was patchy, but we had no idea he was going into shed so we did not boost humidity(he's albino, so we could not see the normal warning signs unfortunately). He's been fine since, coming out every night like clockwork. He a male, born in 2014, and was used as a breeder. I'm thinking he may be going off feed because of the season change. Should I be concerned? We have been offering live medium rats, what he was fed before, and he has not taken the rat after being offered it once a week for the last few weeks. Tonight we killed the live rat and planned to leave it overnight to see if he takes it. Any tips? He seems overall really healthy, he's such a big boy(so much larger than I expected for a male), and I'm sure he's fine to miss food for awhile.
