I picked up a ball python on August 17 she went blue about a week after so she did not feed for me she shed her skin a few days later august 24 th i offered food a few days later but she did not take im pretty sure the prey was to big she was only about 5 weeks at the time and had only had one meal prior to me bringing her home fast forward to her first meal after after refusing a few ft fuzzys i picked up some ft pinkies and she ate one on sept 2 she did not strike or show interest so i left overnight woke up it was gone
i offered another pinky a week later she refused tried again 2 days later she refused my husbandry wasnt on point when i first picked her up but after doing my research i fixed all that was wrong i have a uth regulated by thermostat its set at 92 ambient air temp is about 90 on hotside 82-84 cool side i use a day time basking bulb in the day and che bulb at night to help maintain ambient air temp she is in a 20 gallon tank with identical hides on each side and water dish in middle humidity fluctuates between 40-50 i read that to gwt them started jts best to offer live i picked up a live fuzzie and in less then 5 mins she was wrapped around it and the fuzzy was swallowed within a few mins this was on friday i weighed her today and she is 76.1 grams im not sure how to post pics on thread so i wil not be adding pics but my question is is this a normal considered weight is she small she is about 8-9 weeks after doing more research im gonna offer her hoppers until she gets more weight on her would it be ok to feed her 2 hoppers on a weekly basis i am considering buying 2 hoplers when i go to feed this just wondering if it would be too much for her of would she be able to take them
