    Runt of the clutch?

Is that a thing in the world of BP breeding? We got our handsome man back in March (so we've had him for roughly 5 1/2 months) When we bought him at the reptile expo, they said he was probably about 2 or 3 months old. I've read lots of forums telling BP owners not to fret over weight/size but instead to look at overall body composition. To us, he acts and looks super healthy, but I just think his neck is still super small for how old he's estimated to be. He's also shed 3 times since we got him as well (all in one piece and beautiful) We don't "power feed", but he's never skipped a meal until just last week. Iono, what do y'all think? Is there such thing as a runt in a BP clutch. Pictured below on one of his nightly adventures

He looks fine to me. The neck will always be thinner then the middle of the body. BPs go thin, thick, thin

I know his neck will always be thinner than the rest of his body in comparison, I guess I just thought he was small compared to others I've seen that around his same age. Thin, thick, thin I'll remember that for the future, thanks!

239 grams as of 2 minutes ago. Like I said, he's only ever refused one meal (which was this past Wednesday) but I read that most people just wait a week and try again.

My boy is around the same age and he's about the same size as yours as well. Some just grow slower then others. He looks nice and healthy so I'm sure you're fine ^-^

That's definitely reassuring! I also know boy BP's are smaller than girls, which is why we started with a male in the first place. Glad to know he has a friend on the same growth pattern. Thank you

No problem I had the same worries as you so I totally understand. I've also heard that girls grow faster then boys but I'm not sure on that fact
