    Do you DREAM about snakes?

I wasn't sure where to put this... I thought here would be the best place
Do any of you have dreams about snakes? I keep having really vivid ones where I'm breeding snakes and they come out the eggs strangely... Yesterday I dreamed about breeding Mars Bar and Wanda and some of the babies were pastels and some were corn snakes! I can't be the only one to have these weird dreams... right?? Another time I had a dream where a childhood friend of mine who lived down the road from my parent's house (Long since moved away) let me keep hundreds of snakes in her attic, but I had to move them from my parent's to hers and I had no way so I had to carry them in my mouth... THAT was a strange dream!

Any other weird (or wonderful!) dreams involving snakes??

Re: Do you DREAM about snakes?

I had a dream where me and my sister had Ball Pythons(I had a Piebald and My sister had a Banana Pinstripe, despite me only having a normal at this point) and we were going around Chicago with them in our hands, and we started fighting over them for some reason, and our dad stepped in and he started fighting over the snakes too. It was very weird

Re: Do you DREAM about snakes?

all the time - not just snakes either (lots of work-related dreams). Recently been dreaming a lot about having random pieds (probably because I really want one). A few nights ago I had a dream that I was at a restaurant and had ordered pasta, but was instead brought a pied on a plate and I was very mad at the restaurant and took him home without paying my bill...

another one where I bought and adult female that was a failed breeder (also a pied). A few weeks later she laid a crap-ton of eggs (enough to fill a milk jug - for some reason that was what I was incubating them in) and I was guilty and called the breeder since he'd been trying so hard to get a clutch from her. He wanted her and the clutch back, but promised I could have pick of the litter free of charge, no matter what the combo was. I maintained that I just wanted any female regular pied - the breeder agreed but I actually woke up angry that he wanted the female back.
No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

    Frequently.
Non-snake keepers tend to apply psychoanalysis to that, but sometimes a snake is just a snake.

before i owned any snakes (like 2 years ago), i dreamed that i kept a big Anaconda underneath my bed. i would just chill there lol.

last week i dreamed that during feed night, my G-Stripe combo girl refused her meal. instead she kept biting herself in the tummy and eventually chewed herself in half! i woke up in a panic and went to go check on her. her cute, derpy lil face looked at me clueless to the nightmare i just had.
    RIP Mamba

I haven't had dreams about my boy, but when I was thinking about getting a snake I'd have weird stress dreams about messing up with their care. I had dreams that I'd get them without getting their proper enclosure, starve them for weeks, etc. I had one dream where I had to return a snake because of its extreme aggression, and I bundled it up in a large plastic bag.

I've had a dream where I was watching a much larger collection than I have (I have 10 snakes and in the dream it was maybe 60) and they were all trying to escape at the same time and my husband and I were desperately trying to grab them as they slithered away lol.

Re: Do you DREAM about snakes?

I've only had my bp for about a month or so now, but I've had dreams where he was stuck in his tank decor log (I've since taken this out of his tank just because I couldn't handle being stressed about that all the time.) I also had a dream that I received two baby bp's in the mail that I had apparently forgotten I'd ordered. I wasn't expecting them, they were so young, and I didn't have any enclosure ready for them, so I was frantically trying to find a Tupperware in the kitchen that would be appropriate for holding them for the time being. I was so upset in the dream that I actually woke myself up to stop dreaming about it. Dreams can be weird, but they can tell you about real-life stresses sometimes. I've been worried about messing up my husbandry since I first got my little guy.
