    Weird issue. Sudden food OBSESSION

So of course I'm having a super weird issue. I have a huge 3,000g female ball python. And this is gonna sound funny, but I'm having the opposite feeding issue of what people usually have. Instead of my snake refusing to eat, she went from a normal feeder to absolutely OBSESSED with food. Every time I open her bin she's RIGHT THERE. I used to spritze her with water on the rare occurrence she was in her "food mode" other than feeding time. But now even that doesn't work. She literally lunges at the stream of water. Does anyone know what's going on? I feed her a medium rat every other week so it's not like she doesn't get food. She's been like this for about a week now. Never like this before. Thanks for your replies

Personally I'd say she was building follicles and in "build" mode

If she was building follicles that would be great! Should I start feeding once a week then?

Do you plan on Breeding? I feed once a week all year to all my snakes. I breed so I want my girls and boys ready and feed them well

I do plan on breeding. I stopped feeding once a week because she wasn't eating every week

She was bred a few times last year but no eggs. Is there any other reason she could be acting like this?

Just that she's hungry or growing but she's big already. I'd bet she's building follicles

Building, feed her at least weekly if you want to breed her.

Ok that's awesome! She just didn't do this last year so I didn't know. I'll go to once a week then
