Growth of Ball Pythons + feeding questions! Please Help!!

Hi everyone! I'm new to here because I'm getting my first ball python in two days (should be about 80-100 grams). So my question is, how many mice should I buy at first? I'm buying from XYZ Reptiles and they told me they feed their baby bps hoppers and I'm going to buy from layne labs which lets u chose from quantities of 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, and so on. I don't want to buy 25 for $57 (thats with shipping) only for him to out grow that size in a week. But I also don't want to buy 10 for $49 and then have to reorder it because he still needs that size. So basically, what quantity of hoppers should I buy for my baby ball python?

If it was me I would do 10 mice and move up after that to rat pups.

i mean adult mice now. He weighs enough to go for adult mice.

If you need small stocks, I'd highly advise price checking at local exotics stores, local reptile expos, etc.

Been paying more like $4 a pop for mine, down to $2 at an expo and stocked up en masse.

First off, hoppers are way too small already. You will want to start on small Adult mice. After that you will probably want to switch to weaned rats.

hoppers are only fed for the first few meals, generally 3-5.
