    Question Stays in hot side

So my BP seems to stay in his hide on the warm side of the tank all the time.

My temperatures are 89-92 on the warm side and 80-84 on the cool side. I use a digital thermometer on the warm side for the ambient air and I also spot check with a temp gun multiple times a day.

He eats normal and hides almost all day. He comes out at night a little and then goes back.

Is it normal for him to stay on the warm side?

yeah. A lot of balls are cuddle bugs and just sleep next to a heat source all day. Lazy warm happy babies! a comfy snake is a good sign.

Yea same thing happens with my noodle, he's usually on the cold side but he moves for a little to the warm side chills there a little and then goes back to the cold one, I'm assuming they have a preferred place to be? Not sure but that's what it seems like!

Yeah he seems normal. Mine usually switches day to day lol but not during the day. It's like hotside all day one day then cool side the next day all day balled up. Seems to work for him. The less they move during the day the better from what I've read

Boople is on her hot side now and she usually prefers her cool side. I think they just do what they want lol.

Do you have the same hides on either side? Sometimes they prefer one over the other. If they aren't the same try switching what sides they're on and see if he moves with them

    1.0 Normal
    Normal doesn't mean boring!
