Cool Side Temp Drop
Looking for advice from you guys again lol, this is probably just me being an anxious first time snake owner, but I noticed that yesterday and today the cool side temp in my tank has dropped slightly, from 25C to around 24.5C - - not a /drastic/ drop imo, probably nothing I should be overly concerned about - - Solidus is in shed, and he's been chilling in his hot spot mostly anyway (he's using both hides now after initially only going into the cool side) - -, but I do live in a country where indoor temps fluctuate a lot, and the colder seasons are kicking in here in Northern Europe, which is obviously going to affect my indoor temps.
It's not a drastic drop and I guess as long as it doesn't drop to 23C or below, my boy should be fine, I've heard some snakes rly enjoy hot sides too much so they won't move from the warm side to cool themselves even if it's too hot, but I'm assuming if they get too cold, they'll search out a warmer spot for themselves? I briefly took him out of his hide yesterday to check at what stage of his shed he's in (he's in opaque right now, his eyes were cloudy and blue, he was rly calm and relaxed and did not strike despite me taking an acknowledged risk of handling him while he's in shed lol), and he was nice and warm. I put him back in maybe after 2 minutes, and he crawled right back into his warm hide.
The ambient temp inside his viv have been consistent at 25C and 26C since I got him, now that the weather is getting colder, it dropped slightly.
Anything I can do if it drops below 23C? I know he needs to be able to thermoregulate when digesting his food, he hasn't eaten yet because he refused food last Sunday probably due to his shed, but I obviously want my baby to be healthy and his well-being is rly important to me, I absolutely don't want him to get too cold. :/
My humidity is still consistent, it's been stable at high 60's and 70% and sometimes 77% during hotter and more humid days, and his hot spot is set at 33C at all times.

Cool spot is still acceptable, hot spot is perfect. If your ambient temp in his tank drops below 24C, then you will need to add a heat source like a CHE.

Look into insulating your enclosure as well. Lots of ways to do it ranging from cheap school foamboard to actual human-house grade insulation. Glass sucks at keeping in heat. Towel over the top will also keep heat from rising out of the top.
Northern Wisconsin winters can get pretty bad (-50F/-45.5C) so I have foamboard already on mine's tank and have a powerstrip with a long cord ready to move him into the closet, assuming I haven't upgraded to a tub by then. CHE helps too.

Yeah, it's definitely looking like I need to get him an additional heat source for winter. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
I'm looking at CHE's right now, but I'm wondering whether an infrared light would do the same trick in terms of providing him extra heat? I don't know why the CHE is so expensive lol, the infrared is more affordable, to my understanding the only difference is that the infrared does also emit a light but the CHE does not, the function should still be similar?

I got him the infrared, thanks for helping me out. I'll probably invest in a CHE at some point, too, but right now the infrared was a bit more budget friendly lol.
