    just a blegh!!!

So I have been hoping and having my fingers crossed a lot this season, so much that they nearly are melting together and i become spock...

Anyway, 2nd clutch was hatching (bamboo X pastel), in the boob egg there was the only bamboo pastel (or bamboo for that matter)... Which after in the morning i checked that it was good and not wrapped around stuff, managed to wrap around while i was away for the afternoon/evening and hung itself on its umbilical cord. So that was a huge.. sad... blegh...

So I had a clutch due 1 week later which was Enchi het pied X het pied. Basically the most i was hoping for atleast 1 pied from that clutch just so i know the hets are solid.
But even when not hitting a pied... ATLEAST 1 enchi poss het pied female....
The outcome was: 3 enchis 3 normals ... all poss het.
What do you know? ALL enchis are male and all normals are female.... (enchi het pied male maker confirmed....? :p )

Anyway it is how it goes, it is part of the hobby etc, but blegh ^^

    Pictures of the clutches:

I feel you. Last year I was kicking the odds in the butt. This year not so much, but I did hatch a world's first so I can't complain too much.

Right now I am up to my knees in male mojave spiders when there should have been a much higher diversity. I have one more clutch that could have mojave spiders in it. Hopefully the odds gods cut me a little slack.

Oh yes they are nice, do not get me wrong. But also hoped to further and improve my collection.
To me normals are still very very nice, this year was my first year of hatching normals actually

Yeah, I still have three clutches left in the incubator. Maybe another first sitting in one. Hoping another has a Lavender Phantom male that I need going forward. Year's not done...

Looks like you have the possibility of getting some nice stuff. Good luck!

Thank you! Next year i might start working on my lavender hets... got a 1.1 lavender this year
Most of the stuff I am working on is stuff to build my potential, so will be interesting some clutches coming up.. wouldnt mind a 0.1 toffino 0.1 mystic potion 1.0 butter fire pastel ghost (atleast a 3 gene male) and a 1 nice ghost female..

To be fair from the pewter bee X normal, not much i might want to keep... (kept back 0.1 pewter 0.1 pewter bee and apparantly the male cinna bee who was for sale... is now a 0.1 cinna bee hold back with big scent glands...)

Next year is ... more chance on shining also ... a lot to choose from and to... mix and match.
For this year i think i will not be... aquiring any more animals... Have to build that racks lol... and keep back some food money for the snakes :p
