will my female ball get any bigger

so i bought my ball python from a breeder almost a year ago, and at that time she was only 600G at 2 years old, i have since gotten her up to 1200G in the last year which leads me to believe she was underfed the first 2 years of her life. so i was wondering if anyone could tell me if she will end up getting as big as most female balls if I feed her properly or will she always be smaller than most because of that. I chose a female because i would like a bigger snake so i am curious.

She'll continue to grow as long as she continues to be fed appropriately.

I have a normal female that I got for free, she was just a little bigger than a hatchling at 1.5 years old. They were only feeding her one hopper mouse every other week. When I got her home she immediately ate three adult mice back to back! She grew like a rocket and went up to 1500 grams in under a year, she is fasting now but it looks like she caught up to her proper weight for that age. I assume now that she is up to size that her growth won't be stunted one bit.

My experience has been the following...

Growth does not get stunted in these animals. That said some are bigger than others. I have breeding females below 2000 grams and breeding females around 4000 grams that are still noticeably growing. If they have been underfed they will eat heavily until they catch up to the weight and size they think they need to be and then begin to act normally. Which to me means eat for a period of time then strike for a few months. If they are not being bred, the striking will probably happen sooner.

While not all animals are not created equal yes she will likely get bigger she might not be a 3500/4000 grams monster but she will likely be in the 2000's with time.

Not every females get over the 3000 mark most of my females are in the 2500 grams, only my Pied stuff get much bigger, big babies out of the egg and big females at least for those that originated from my founder group. Genetic plays a role just like in people.

Also want to add that even given the same meals some snakes will retain more of it to grow and others will poop out more for whatever reason. I have a few babies left from a clutch a few months ago that range from 90g. - 200g. And they've all had within 3 meals of each other. Don't worry about getting yours to 2000g as fast as possible, it'll happen eventually. Slow and steady wins the race and seems to involve less fasting in my experience.

I'm interested too. I hope my pied collection all hit 4000g! Brian Gundy has a few pieds that grew super fast and I've been debating adding on of his to my collection just to see.

I talk to Brain every now and again but mostly about mojaves and husbandry stuff. I did not realize his pieds were big. I don't really have an interest in pieds but consistently large animals fit in with my program. I may have to chat him up a bit on the subject.
