I'm starting to get worried....
Ok, today monty's eyes are starting to get cloudy just for another matter. Well a few days ago I fed him, hes fed for me 3 times since I've had him, due to the fact that he got out for a week once and out for 2 days also, but Ive had him fer a month or so now and he still hasnt defecated, is he ok? Also I have been noticing that he is looking a little thin, the reason Im sure is because he hasnt had much of a feed and now I'm getting him on a feeding schedule, he has almost loose skin on his sides, when he coils up you dont notice it, but when he streches out you can pinch it some. I weighed him and he is 72grams and hes about 21in long, give me your opinion, I'm getting him frozen fuzzies tomorrow and I'll keep a supply of them that way I can always have a few to feed him w/.

Maybe you should move up in prey size. Try a small adult mouse. Ball pythons can usually take hopper mice right out of the egg, so they really don't ever need to eat fuzzies. If he is over a month old, he can most likely handle an young adult mouse.

Just for comparison...my male bp began eating adult mice when he was 19 in. long and about 80 grams.

Re: I'm starting to get worried....
just a guess but maybe she hasnt defecated because she is ussing all of the food u give her. My bp is 20" long and i feed her FT adult mice in the 25 - 35 Gram range. she wieghs 160 g. i was like u, i started out feeding my bp too small of a meal for the first two meals. then i put her on the adult mice and she has really gained wieght sense. she gains at least 20 g each week or from one feed to the next i can expect at least a 20 g gain.

Re: I'm starting to get worried....
Baby was about 18 inches long when we got her. She was eating an adult mouse, just a young adult mind you not a huge one or a retired breeder, but definitely an adult per week with no troubles at all.
She is now 28 inches long and eats two adult mice per week.
