    When to weigh?

Just curious, how often should I weigh my ball python? Also, how much weight gain should I be expecting each time she is weighed?

For example: on 6/10 her weight was 574g and I weighed her on 7/7 at 613g. Is this weight gain about average?

    thanks.

I weigh at every feeding. Sounds average to me. I weigh weekly, every Wednesday.

Honestly, I only weigh them like once a year, and that is more out of curiosity than anything else.

If you are interested in how your ball python is growing compared to others, there are a variety of charts listing ball python growth with an emphasis on the first 5 years or so.

I weigh my juveniles and sub-adults prior to each feeding. As they get older, I weigh every month or so.

As for growth rate, there are too many variables for there to be a "standard" growth rate.

Does anyone happen to have a link to one of these charts that they consider to be reliable?

Just before feeding I weigh - I feed in a tub so I clean the enclosure while they feed.
