    Out of curiosity...

just wondered how others think my baby spider male is doing. had him for 3 months today. has gained 77g in 3mo. gained approximately 25g a month. wondered if that is good, or overfeeding, or what. he gets a f/t hopper or fuzzy every 5 days.

You are actually underfeeding, young BP have a higher metabolism and are designed to eat and grow fast.

Fuzzies are colubrid food and are not appropriated for a ball python unless you are dealing with a runt out of the egg (20/35 grams range)

Hoppers are fed right out of the egg (for 3 to 5 meals) before the animal quickly move to adult, assuming your snake is let's say 140 grams (based on average weight out of the egg and weight gain) he is more than ready for a small adult mouse maybe even bigger.

Here is a feeding guide https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...ing-Guidelines

^^^ Exactly. I was going to post a pic of the same feeding chart.
