Just Needed To Share My Excitement lol and a question!!!

We have babies!!! One in here and the egg we fear is dead have yet to pip. How long do you wait before you cut open the egg that hasnt pipped?? We are between day 54 and 57 as they were laid while we wefe away so we aren't certain.

If the rest have piped it's generally safe to cut the remaining.

We have never actually cut an egg so I'm not even sure how. I would be worried about hurting the snake. As well is it stresfull to be messing around in there with the snakes still in egg? The egg that has not pipped is also attached to another egg that has. The one we feared was dead is all alone but I'm actually a little scared to cut that open..I'll admit

It's not hard. Just pinch the egg and cut the pinch. This way you don't hit the baby. Then very slowly open it just enough to see if everything is ok but if you are worried about it give it a day or two. Sometimes some just need a extra day

The one we think died I'm more worried about what I'll find inside. But maybe if the last healthy one hasn't made an appearance by tonight we will give it a hand
