    PASTELS !! Wondering ?

I can't really find anything on the web that breaks down the individual pastel morphs Wondering if someone could elaborate?

    Blonde
    Citrus
    Lemon
    Pastel
    Pastel -bell
    pastel- graziani line

Are all these just the same morph but discovered by different people and named by them like the banana/Coral glow or sugar/calico morphs?
do certain lines hold their color better then others?
I have seen some adults that look amazing an some that are completely dull ..
    Thanks......

They are all just pastels as far as I know. I believe some of the lines have been enhanced through line breeding. What this means is that the "differences" between the lines can disappear with a single outcross.

NERD starts out as ugly duckling but matures out very nicely.

Graziani is also a great line

Ruppel is probably the best IMO

The chances of finding a Pastel that has not been out crossed in other lines is very slim, I have a Lemon Pastel Het clown and that is the only one I can tell you for sure that is a pure NERD line, other animals in my collection that have pastel in them I have no clue.

To me it's not about the lines when it comes to pastels it's about selective breeding and selecting the best individuals regardless of the line.
