    Rack Systems

I have no doubt this conversation has been had multiple times in the past but when I tried searching the forum I wasn't able to find any good discussions on it. So I apologize in advance if you're seeing this for the hundredth time and saying "Why doesn't he just use the search feature!?"

So I've reached a point where I'd like to switch from glass aquariums to rack systems. I'll keep a few aquariums "decked out" and housing my favorite display snakes but other than that I'd like to begin using rack systems, especially since I want to breed a couple of different species for fun (BPs mainly but a couple species of colubrids as well).

So what rack systems do you use? What are some of the best overall rack systems available currently (factoring in price as well)? What are the pros and cons of the different rack systems you've used/know about? One thing to consider is that my "snake room" is also my office. I climate control the room to a certain degree by blocking off AC vents since I like the rest of my place to be cold, but I can't do it to the degree I'd prefer, like I would with a dedicated snake room. For this reason I need rack systems that trap both humidity and heat well. I also strongly prefer systems that already have heating (belly heat) built into them.

Thanks in advance to anyone that chimes in

    Re: Rack Systems

I love my Reptile Basics CB-70 racks for my BP's. They are massive and the BP's do really well in them. I am probably going to be switching my colubrids over to an Animal Plastics Economy rack with either the 41 qt or 32 qt tubs. I've had AP in the past. I like RB better because they come with the tubs. But AP makes taller racks.

Keep the answers coming guys, this is very helpful

Has anyone used Boaphile's RhinoRaxx? That's one of a few I came across, and I liked the built in heating.

I would go with ARS all the way, nothing else even comes close.
