So I had attempted to breed 3 of my ball pythons. Started pairing them in late October. Only paired once a month but saw visible locks each time. Was palpating and never felt any follicles or egg growth. Well around Jan-Feb time frame I decided to just give up on breeding them since my males completely stopped eating and I didn't want to cause them any issues.
Well I looked in today after not checking on them for a few days and found 8 eggs under my GHI! We have the stuff for the incubator but never put it together because I didn't think we were going to need it. We will be getting it put together asap, but I'm just hoping I'm not too late? I sprayed her tub and put the water dish on the heat tape to help boost the humidity. I'll have to check humidity levels when I get home but temps were sitting at about 91 degrees.
Here's a pic of what the eggs looked like just a few minutes ago. I'm going to try incubating them reguardless but I'd like to know if I should get my hopes up or just expect the worst![]()
