    Success and question about vibration

The 530g FINALLY ate on Monday, after 3 to 4 month fast! Normally we feed Sunday, but we were a day late.

The adult wouldn't eat, (since Dec 25th,) so we tried a hopper today. (Stores close early on weekend, so had to get live tonight.) BAM took it in 2 seconds.

Now, fingers crossed that she will go back to f/t next Sunday! (Old owner fed live but she was on f/t with us from last June until her December fast began.)

Also, hubby needs the bigger room upstairs for his computer business, (my snakes room,) so the snakes have to go in the back room on the main floor. Laundry room in the next room and TV room in the room in front of them. Large sound system. (Not always blaring mind you,) but, would the laundry machines or TV sound vibrations throw them off food again or would they be ok because it's still their enclosure, still us, same old, just a new room with a few more vibrations? More foot traffic to get to the laundry room, but not terribly busy! I would keep blinds closed too, like they are now.

No one has an opinion if the vibrations will bother them?

Turn up the TV and see if you feel any vibration in the floor or walls. If you do they certainly will too. Now if that will throw them off, I don't know.

If it is bad maybe a rubber mat under the tank stand or tank itself would help reduce felt vibration.

Malfoy lives in the living room, right by the tv. Only place I had for him. He does fine. It may not work for all balls, but he is ok.
