    Thoughts on this combo?

I am a newbie looking to start a small breeding collection in the next year or 2. I'm building my hatchling stock now, I'm doing this for personal pleasure, not as a business.

I currently have 3 beautiful snakes.

    A female BEL Les/But

A male Bumblebee 100% het ghost 100% het pie
A female Super Pastel 100% Het Ghost 100% het pie

I'm thinking of adding a few more, the double hets I have calculate out to some nice combos I think, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. My limited knowledge makes me think that's a crazy good pairing

Suggestions on a stud for the BEL?

My goal is to have 2-3 males and 7 females within the next few months and let them grow , age and give myself time to learn before they are ready to breed.

    Thks

I would not worry about males right now concentrate on your female than in a year a year and a half get the males, males do not need as much time to mature and by giving it the time you will be able to get a better male for the amount you are thinking about spending now.

    As for suggestion since
I'm doing this for personal pleasure,
keep the same moto to pick the ideal male, do not let other dictate your collection.

    Thks for the reply

I'm more looking for ideas as to nice looking combos more than others dictating my collection

I'm just getting into this over the last couple months and want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious

Good point on waiting on other males at this point. I'm trying to make sure I start off right and have a plan to follow going forward more than breeding just to make babies if that makes sense

    Re: Thoughts on this combo?

I suggest looking at the Butter and Lesser combos on World of Ball Pythons ( www.worldofballpythons.com ) to see which morph combos stand out to you. Just remember you do have time with your female maturing.

Remember the females need 2 to 3 years before they are ready to go.
Your male bee would go great with both of those females. You might even get a couple nice Lesser/Butter Bees to hold back that would be possible het pied, het hypo or double.
