Keep 2 heat bulbs of different wattages?

Pretty much what the title asks. I currently have two 75 watt bulbs but could i buy one 125 watt bulb to replace one of the 75 watt instead of buying two 100 watt to replace both of them. If that makes sense.

As long the temp on both side is good , and humidity is not off roof you should be fine

Are these on a shared tstat or dimmer?

    If so, then no.

    If no, then yes.

Placing a higher watt bulb on a dimmer or tstat where it is run at a lower wattage than rated will make it last longer.

If light output is not needed you may want to check out a cermeric heat emitter. They can last forever with the proper fixture.
