    Offering Two Mice

Hi again, I have a ball python that I would like to start not necessarily power feeding but bump up his feeding a little bit. He poops very little and he's a bit thin, and I want to make sure hes as healthy as possible. Anywayyys my question is how do I offer him multiple mice in a feeding? He's too small to eat a rat so I was thinking of giving him two mice, however, it seems like as soon as he finishes his meal he beelines for his hide to digest. Does that mean he's full? Should I not try to feed him two?? Do snakes have behaviors that mean they're hungry/still hungry??? Thanks!

Also, I tend to feed him not on a super strict schedule (@ different times and a couple days before and after a week goes by) I've heard this is good because it adds the variety of hunting in the wild, but can too much variation be bad?

i have done either two feeding in one day or split it up so you feed..lets say tues and fri. I have done both and it depends on the snake. if you do two, you feed one when you see the mouse in the belly you can feed another. if it is still in the upper part of the snake wait until the food is in their belly which is half way or a little more. I have done both.

This is what I usually do since I have to feed my Mojave 2 mice everytime... After he finished swallowing the first one close the enclosure and leave it alone for 10-15 mins (15mins recommend) its like a break time and with mine he doesn't go back to hide even if he just finished eating. If you feed the second one immediately after the first its gonna take a long time for him to strike again.
