Does anyone have some tried and true methods of rehydration? I have read a good idea is to inject feeder mice with water, using powerade in a bin and soak the snake, mist the enclosure and keep it very damp for 12-24 hours, etc etc.

Also, for F10sc nebulization of snakes, what is the correct dilution ratio to use?

Any other home based remedies / treatments would be invaluable as well. Such as how to deal with infection of spurs in Boas and other snakes, how to deal with mites while using PAM and NIX, how to treat abscess and anything else under the sun.

Any input appreciated

PS- The nebulizer thread and any other health care threads I post are meant to inform myself and others, through more experienced keepers, about ways to deal with issues you may encounter when keeping reptiles. The methods posted are to be used at the discretion of those who decide to use them and based on the experience of their effectiveness and safety. The threads are in no way meant to give the impression that you should avoid a trip to the vet if you think the situation is serious enough to warrant it. The information that is hopefully gained from these threads are to be used as preventative measures, or if you are experiencing a minor problem that doesn't warrant the stress of a vet visit as per your discretion.

Thanks
