Foil Tape?
Recently I was told in a group chat, that putting foil tape on top of my snakes enclousure lid (about 1/4 or so) would help keep in humidity, heat, etcetera. Considering I'm having humidity problems I'm trying everything I can before moving straight to tubs, and setting her stuff up in there. (I'm not lazy, I just never have anytime lately to get her moved in to a new home)
Has anyone ever had an experience with this tape? If so, how did it go, and how would I do it myself?

Not sure who would recommend using foil tape for that. It literally sticks to everything and is so hard to get off anything. I hate it!
Definitely can use foil though, which is what people normally recommend. Just normal foil, and wrap it over the screen top.

Foil tape is wonderful. For attaching heat tape to the enclosure.
Tape in general, however should never be anywhere the snake can have access to it. Including through the screen. Regular aluminum foil is perfect, though, for what you want to use it for

Yep, use the foil tape on the edges to hold down the aluminum foil.
