Most eggs you got from a 1500 gram and smaller female?

Just purely out of curiosity, so everyone can keep their opinions on what size to breed and such to themselves. Thanks in advance!

I got 3 eggs from a 1500 g normal about 10 years ago. I dont think you will see much more than that in one that small.

I have a 1600 gram girl that's going to lay so ill let you know what she produces when she does
but this one is just a small ball python she is almost 4 years old now and eats well just a small girl (she's not 1600g now tho because she is going to lay any day)
Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Pretty sure this is false. I've spoken to many breeders and they all say the bigger the female doesn't necessarily mean more eggs. Ive seen nice size clutches from 1500 gram females.

I would say that this could go either way. But we all know they have a prime weight. 2k+ but once they get to large it can affect the clutch size. Now looking at common weight of an egg is 100g. A 1500g female can only support and produce so much. Thinking your average clutch size is 7 eggs. This being for a 2k+.. i would say on average its 3-5 eggs.. but there is always that chance out of hundreds of trials that someone had a larger clutch.

We had a normal girl two seasons ago that was 1500 grams when we started pairing here. She blew up to about 1800 grams before she laid but when she did, she gave us 9 eggs. Not too shabby for a first clutch. This year she was around 1700 to 1800 when we started pairing and right now she is at about 2100 grams. We'll see if she goes.
