What is this spot?
So, my Ball python has this deformed, almost pointed scale near her vent, and I'm worried it's early signs of scale rot, or she's burned herself. It's the only spot I've seen on her entire body, and if it is rot, I'd like to treat it immediately!

Need a picture. If you put one it isn't working

Re: What is this spot?
Oh, no worries! I realized they were just her spurs, which i hadn't noticed until just now. They're rather small, i thought it was just a malformed scale! I didn't see them, and I was told she was a Juvenile (About 2, 2 1/2 feet long) so when do they start to grow? Honestly I'm not sure her gender, and I'm not about too probe her, and risk her getting injured just to know her gender.
As for the picture, I posted one but it doesn't seem to be working; even on my computer I cant!

When do the spurs grow? They always stay relatively small.

How are you posting photos by the way? You need to upload the online (I use photobucket) and then get the URL, then post it using the [IMG*] [/IMG*] brackets (without the *). Hope this helps!

Re: What is this spot?
Normal appearing ventral scale rows and no discoloration. Healthy.
Stay in peace and not pieces.
