Another attempt at BPs.... My daughter foiled the last one

So I am not new to snakes and have had a love for them since childhood. 2014 brought about the opportunity to finally be able to own some BPs so being me, I jumped in head first. I am not Bob Vila (If you don't know him, you are sooo young) but I can hold my own, so I made 2 Melamine racks, nice if I say so myself. I had already purchased 2 beautiful BRBs from a local guy who knocks out some killer combos. So those went into the 41qt bin rack.
My sister in law runs a PetCo and calls my wife and says some guy just dropped off a beautiful Boa he couldn't keep, so then I ended up with "Freight Train". He was magnificent and had the feeding response like I have never seen. His name was given a few weeks later because while feeding him, I made the devastating mistake of looking away and he struck my arm and nailed me solid...
So I started digging into BPs more because I knew I wanted them for their morphs but also because they are some of the only snakes that allow me to be OCD about care, breeding but the challenge and reward associated with them. I don't remember the exact sequence to the source of my first but it wasn't long until I had 5, then more to follow.
I was very picky and was fortunate enough to work by a breeder I found locally. I sourced most of my BPs from him. I spoke with him yesterday and he has a dozen females that have locked successfully numerous times this year so I am looking forward to some babies.
This brings me to today. My daughter turns 2 in July and with that brings about the rationale that I should start collecting some 2 and 3 genes to grow out. Well, what about the ones you have, well here is where it gets sad. During my wifes pregnancy, she developed some issues. 2am runs to Jack in the Box for Tacos, by me of course, and an enhanced sense of smell. So the snakes, rats or a dog farting down the street could be smelled by this woman. So the first resolution was to change from liners to a natural bedding. Nope didn't work. Ok then I moved them to the garage where they had a 2 door barrier. Still didn't work. So finally had to sell my small but might to me collection.
So now that these problems are no longer an issue, I am looking into starting all over again. Its insane how many new things have developed in the last couple of years. I will have to keep them for now in my unattached garage due to space requirements. My garage never gets hot in the summer or too cold in the evening so temperature regulation shouldn't be an issue and if it is then I can run a space heater or mini AC unit.

Here is my thoughts to help maintain a viable setup.

I am looking at the following:

Animal Plastics 1755(10) which I am sure you know is a 10 tub 32qt setup. I was going to go with belly heat to create a more "in contact with tub" hot side.

Vivarium Electronics VE-100 to control the temps

APC Back-UPS BE425M battery backup so should there be any power interruptions while I am at work, heat will still be provided.

Cypress Mulch or Reptile Bark or Coco Chips is most likely going to be the substrate. I did paper last time and I feel like I can control humidity better this way.

Deli Cups or Bowls. I am leaning towards bowls but like the sanitation aspect of deli cups.

Reptile Basics Hides is a no brainer.

So that is my starting point for now. I am always open to suggestions, advice or criticism. I am still re-new to all of this so trying to get caught up on what I have missed over the last 2.5 years. I will be most likely picking up exceptional 2 genes and possibly 3 genes from super reputable breeders. If it isn't visually identifiable, then I will be staying away. I love Super Emperor Pins and Queen Spin Banana as well as many others.

Morph market is going to be your best friend... though maybe not so friendly to your wallet You can look at snakes from all over the country, or, if you'd prefer to stay local, you can use the morph map feature to look at breeders only near you!

Sorry about your previous collection, looks like you have a great set u going. Gotta say, I'm on my 3rd pregnancy right now, and while I definitely have "preggo nose" that just usually prompts me to be more fastidious about cleaning rather than getting rid of the whole dang thing!
