    Enjoying the spring weather

The warm weather has me outside starting some Spring yard work. Tyson came out to enjoy the warm sun for a bit...Baloo and Johnny got some outdoor time too

How hard are the ferrets to take care of? From your perspective?

I actually have 4, but the females are too small for the harness so they don't go outside, hence no pics. They are a lot of work. TONS more than a snake. They have extremely high metabolisms and eat a lot, so they poop A LOT. They are a lot of fun though, definitely love to play. They sleep about 16-18 hours a day, but when it's play time they are pretty nuts, in a good way. I turned a 4'x6'x6' closet into their enclosure full of ramps, tunnels, etc.. and different levels. They use all of it when they're playing, but all 4 usually sleep all piled up on each other. Feeding is easy, training is pretty easy, grooming/hygiene is easy, but clean-up of the enclosure is a pain and they make a mess of their room when they are out to play (they get free reign of the room for a few hours a day). As far as the smell, it's minimal if you keep their enclosure clean.
